Lobby Pop-up: Cats of the Red Walls

This winter, EAST Beijing and art partner ucvibes present Cats of the Red Walls, a photography exhibition by Beijing-born photographer Kerchak. Drawn from his ongoing Palace Cats series, which began in 2017, the exhibition runs from 1 November 2026 to 31 January 2027 in the lobby of EAST Beijing. Following the cats that call the Forbidden City home, the works capture changing seasons, quiet encounters and a more intimate side of Beijing.
