Lobby Pop-up: Warm Light Woven from Childhood, Illuminating the Path of Growth

From 1 April to 30 June 2026, EAST Beijing hosts Warm Light Woven from Childhood, Illuminating the Path of Growth, a solo exhibition by artist Wang Le curated by ucvibes in the hotel’s ground-floor lobby. Born in Shijiazhuang and now working between Hebei and Beijing, Wang Le is known for his bandaged cat and boy motif and for paintings that gently explore childhood, vulnerability and resilience. Bold colour fields and recurring cactus imagery carry shared memories of the post‑80s generation, while delicate brushwork holds small moments of warmth before they fade. In line with EAST Beijing’s evolving gallery concept, the exhibition invites guests and neighbours to pause in the lobby, meet the works at eye level, and take a moment to look again at their own path of growth.
