A Night of Going Places — EAST Miami Debuts Immersive Show “DANI”

As somewhere that invites guests to arrive at a different place, EAST Miami delivered on its promise Wednesday night as it transformed into a multi-sensory, multilingual performance space. DANI, an original story conceived for the event, tells the story of an artist who leaves home to pursue her dreams of making it big as an artist in Miami. Stepping into this new city, however, she finds so much more in the way of a new culture, community, and way of being. Yet her journey isn’t without its challenges as she struggles to reconcile her connections to those in her past with the promise of a future in Miami.

This included an immersive tour of EAST's spaces and an ensemble cast of diverse Miami and Los Angeles-based creatives, artists, and Alternative Thinkers of all walks.

Beginning in the lobby, guests were treated to a dance performance followed by an appetizer of Latin and Asian flavours. From there, guests were ushered upstairs for the main performance of DANI, staged inside our one-bedroom suites.

Throughout the night, guests were free to step through portals to the show's magical AR layer by scanning EAST logos located at different points in the hotel.

To cap off the evening, we invited guests to Tea Room for an East-meets-South DJ jam by Demonslayer and Nat Salazar who filled the room Vietnam and Mexico-inspired beats late into the night.
