COVID-19 Update

Starting from 1 February 2022, EAST Hong Kong will be designated as a quarantine hotel for Cathay Pacific crew who are required to complete a compulsory quarantine under the Government’s regulations. With this restriction, unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate other guests during this time.

FEAST (Food by EAST), the restaurant, and Domain, the café and co-working space, will remain open under current operating hours which will be accessible only through a separate entrance via the link bridge on 2/F inside Cityplaza. Sugar, the rooftop lounge bar, will be temporarily closed.

Rest assured that we will implement an array of special measures to ensure the health and safety of all patrons, our team members, crew, and the community-at-large. We will continue to follow all Government guidelines and carry out intensive cleaning and thorough disinfection of the hotel’s common areas to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained.

EAST has been assessed by respective Government departments and medical professionals that the hotel design is suitable for quarantine purpose. The ventilation system for the guest floors and the F&B outlets (FEAST and Domain) are served by different air handling units (AHU), with each providing fresh air supply and air exhaustion independently. We will arrange different teams to handle the crew and restaurant patrons respectively.
